Mountain Spinning Mills Ltd (MSM) was established in the year 1990 by Shri. G. Vettivel, Managing Director of Tuticorin Spinning Mills. Shri. G. Vettivel is the son of the late industrialist, Shri. AMMS Ganesa Nadar. The predominantly export market oriented cotton yarn spinning unit was established at Mangalagiri with 25,000 high-speed ring-spindles
After a successful period exporting its products to world-wide markets, the mills suspended its spinning activity in the year 2016 and proceeded into wind energy sector along with its sister organization, The Tuticorin Spinning Mills Ltd. A new company MGE was floated to lead the group’s foray into the clean energy sector
Apart from Muppandhal Green Energy (MGE), several new projects are being planned at the existing 35 acre campus located adjacent to the Thoothukudi Airport
